Pocono Mountain Garden Railway Society at The German Christmas Market of NJ
Pocono Mountain Garden Railway Society (PMGRRS) will have a large 40' x 40' indoor display at the German Christmas Market of NJ. A fundraising event giving back to Sussex county organizations that you don't want to miss. Fun for all to enjoy with lots of attractions, entertainment, food & drink. Over 150 vendors. In addition to Large Scale there is also HO Scale, N Scale, Z Scale, Christmas villages, Ski village & Lift, Carnival and LEGO's. Something for everyone to enjoy in the heated Greenhouse. If you go, be sure to stop and say hello to the Pocono Mountain Garden Railway Society.
Open garden railway Christmas and Lights Spectacular! This is the 22nd and FINAL YEAR you will be able to see this magnificent display! Stop by to see over 15,000 lights, drink some hot cocoa and enjoy some Christmas trains and some peppermint sticks. If you're in or around the Cincinnati area make sure you check this out!
The display will be open Fridays, Dec. 6, 13, 20 and 27th. Since it is the last year the display is also open on Sunday, Dec. 22nd.
Display is open 7-9 PM each night.
This is an outdoor event; trains run weather permitting. They cannot run in heavy rain or snow over 1" accumulation.
GCGRS at the Heritage Village Train Days Christmas Display
Watch model trains chug past villages, around mountains, and through tunnels in these large model train displays! Tour several buildings in Heritage Village's 1800s village to see all of the train layouts in a variety of gauges. Garden scale trains from the Greater Cincinnati Garden Railway Society will be on display in the Myers Schoolhouse.
The Great Circle Line & Points North Rail Road will fill the historic Chester Park Train Station. In addition to being able to view these model train layouts, visitors can enjoy hands-on activities such as Morse Code, North Pole Hotline, complimentary Trading Cards, and complimentary samples from the layout’s Candy Factory.
On Dec. 18, 19, & 20, Mike Schmidt of OKILUG (Ohio Kentucky Indiana Lego User Group) will run his Lego trains in the General Store. There will also be additional train layouts in Hayner House during those dates.
