GCGRS at the Heritage Village Train Days Christmas Display
Watch model trains chug past villages, around mountains, and through tunnels in these large model train displays! Tour several buildings in Heritage Village’s 1800s village to see all of the train layouts in a variety of gauges. Garden scale trains from the Greater Cincinnati Garden Railway Society will be on display in the Myers Schoolhouse.
The Great Circle Line & Points North Rail Road will fill the historic Chester Park Train Station. In addition to being able to view these model train layouts, visitors can enjoy hands-on activities such as Morse Code, North Pole Hotline, complimentary Trading Cards, and complimentary samples from the layout’s Candy Factory.
On Dec. 18, 19, & 20, Mike Schmidt of OKILUG (Ohio Kentucky Indiana Lego User Group) will run his Lego trains in the General Store. There will also be additional train layouts in Hayner House during those dates.
