Northeast Large Scale Train Show

Well, the first (hopefully of many) Northeast Large Scale Train Show has come and gone. I think the show was a great a success and I’m looking forward to going back next year. The show featured a 55,000 square foot building filled with exhibitors, vendors and operating layouts.

As “Large Scale Live” we did a live walk through of the show and also took several videos of the G Scale layouts setup which you can all see here in the created playlist.

Below is a short message from show director John Sacerdote.

“Not only did we have a great time, but we learned an awful lot that we will incorporate into next year’s Show.

For starters, the Show will be a weekend Show, Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, 2024. The hours will be 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sunday.

If you have not seen the website or the posts on social media, our gate over the weekend was 1080 with a total population of 1330. For those of you that know me, I am not happy with those numbers (when am I ever happy about the gate?) All that does is motivate me for a bigger and better Show next year. I hope you will be joining us again in 2024.”

So, as you can see the show will be back next year and hopefully for many years to come. Nico and I would like to say thank you to John Sacerdote and the Amherst Railway Society for all the work they did to put on a great show!
