Starting off our first guest is none other than John Sacerdote, past president of the Amherst Railway Society and the Show Director for the Northeast Large Scale Train Show. John will be giving us updates on this year’s show (being held on May 3rd and 4th) and what we can expect. Rumor has it it’s even bigger than it was last year! We can’t wait to hear what John has to tell us and we’re sure you can’t wait either.

Our second guest is actually two! Joining us for the first time on Large Scale Live is Steve and Malinda Jungst. There’s a lot of wonderful and caring people in this hobby and they are no exception. Actually, they’re in all honesty pretty exceptional! They will be talking to us about their mission to get the youth more involved and excited about the hobby with the youth clinics they host at shows/conventions called “Making Trains Fun”. We think everyone will find the work they’re doing pretty amazing and hopefully, many will find it inspiring!

RLD Hobbies Open House Recap, Personal Layouts, News, Updates & More “Large Scale Live”

Here we are again, everyone starting a new season of Large Scale Live! Season 5 to be exact, who thought we’d still be doing this 5 years later? Obviously it’s all of you, the fans of the show that have kept us doing the show because Nico and I surely don’t do this to talk to each other lol. On this season premier we won’t have a special guest following our tradition of using the first show of the new season to spend some more quality time interacting one on one with all of you. So, starting off we took a break last month as we both made the trip to the RLD Hobbies Open House in Albion Illinois. Although we didn’t do any live coverage while there we do have photos and videos from the trip to follow up with, some of which will show you that a good time can still be had even if it’s raining out lol. After that we’ll get to see the progress Nico has been making on his own personal layout this past summer and we’ll also take a look at a few changes Andrew made on his layout (and a few more he’d like to make).
