On this episode of Large Scale Live our guest will be Kyle Keiper which many of you may know personally or from when he was on the show before. Here we are again, everyone starting a new season of Large Scale Live! Season 5 to be exact, who thought we’d still be doing this 5 years later? Obviously it’s all of you, the fans of the show that have kept us doing the show because Nico and I surely don’t do this to talk to each other lol. On this season premier we won’t have a special guest following our tradition of using the first show of the new season to spend some more quality time interacting one on one with all of you. So, starting off we took a break last month as we both made the trip to the RLD Hobbies Open House in Albion Illinois. Although we didn’t do any live coverage while there we do have photos and videos from the trip to follow up with, some of which will show you that a good time can still be had even if it’s raining out lol. After that we’ll get to see the progress Nico has been making on his own personal layout this past summer and we’ll also take a look at a few changes Andrew made on his layout (and a few more he’d like to make).
Everyone, it’s time again for an all new Large Scale Live! On this live stream we’ll be taking a look at some of the many layouts that will be on the upcoming garden railway tour put on by the Columbus Garden Railway Society on September 8th from 1pm to 5pm (See Links below for the clubs website and YouTube Channel). The best part is there is no cost to go on this tour, it’s FREE! To guide us along this journey we have Columbus Garden Railway Society member Jed Hacker as our guest! Some may remember Jed from when he appeared on our show in 2022 or from when he (and other club members) did the live stream series “Work Bench Wednesday” several years ago. As far as the tour the club does in Columbus Ohio, all I can say is if you have the ability to make it you should go. With over a dozen layouts on the tour you will definitely have more layouts to see than you have time for. Hopefully after watching the show it will help guide you to the layout’s you find most interesting. As always, bring your questions as I’m sure there will be a lot about the various layouts and Jed is pretty knowledgeable about each one’s history.
We will of course have info on other upcoming g scale events, product announcements/updates and other general G scale related news! We’ll also be doing another giveaway to give back to our fans but you’ll need to tune in to find out what it is though. As always we look forward to interacting with everyone during the live stream in the chat and we know you’ll enjoy the show!
We have an all new Large Scale Live coming up this Sunday July 28th at 7:00 PM EDT! Our guest on this show is Nancy Norris, a name many of you will recognize. You may have also read her book “Miniature Garden Guidebook“ published under Kalmbach Publishing. Most recently in the May/June 2024 issue of GR News Nancy wrote the article titled “75th Anniversary of Maine’s Gratitude Car from the Merci Train”. Additionally you may have attended one of the numerous clinics she has done at conventions.
On this show Nancy plans to cover some of her past and current garden railroad projects. Additionally Nancy will be getting out her green thumb to tell us about using small wild and tame plants on our garden railroads.

We have yet again another amazing Large Scale Live for everyone! We have several guests on this live stream, one you’ve seen on the show before and one that is making a first time appearance! Our new first time guest many may know as the one and only Don Sweet of Remote Control Systems of New England!

LOL) and hear all about what we can expect when attending this year’s Northeast Large Scale Train Show (taking place April 27 and 28).
