Welcome everyone to an all new Large Scale Live! On this show we have the honor of having Nancy Norris as our guest! Many of you will recognize her name as she was the horticulture editor for Garden Railways Magazine where she wrote the column “Greening Your Garden”. You may have also read her book “Miniature Garden Guidebook“ published under Kalmbach Publishing. Those of you that read GR News (if you don’t read it you should as it is an excellent FREE publication for garden railroaders available at www.grnews.org) the May/June 2024 issue has an article she wrote titled “75th Anniversary of Maine’s Gratitude Car from the Merci Train”. She has also done numerous clinics conventions/shows along with many many more things that are too numerous to list. With all that said you’re probably wondering what she’ll be showing us on this show? Nancy plans to cover some of her past garden railroad projects along with showing us some of her current ones. In addition to that she’ll be getting out her green thumb to tell us about using small wild and tame plants on our garden railroads. Also be sure to check out Nancy’s website HERE!
